Recipe of the Week: Rustic Garlic Herb Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp instant yeast
1 ¼ cups warm water
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp mixed herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano)
Instructions:
Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
Add warm water and olive oil; mix until a dough forms.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
Fold in garlic and herbs.
Let rise for 1 hour, then shape into a loaf.
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
Serve warm with butter or olive oil.
